These things happen. At least it was not as bad as what happened to my sister once. Due to some sort of computer failure at the college she had lost nearly all coursework for a college project. It really stressed her out. Still the film was as calming as ever.

You guys do a great job. I myself did not mind the split films. I hope you don't have any more trouble. I love all the things you have found. Thank you for sharing this with us.

I think I can help you out with that "Communications Department" tag; It's from a ship, I think. I have one alot like it that says: Purser's Locker, and it has a skeleton key ringed onto it. So, yours most likely had a key, too , and it probably belonged to the Radio Room. It's possible that it could be older though, as it doesn't say that, suggesting semiphores, flags, pennants, lights ,etc. To my eye, it seems to be 1900 or so. Hope that helps😊.
